PaulE typically begins his creative process in photography. Moments are captured, typically inspired by music and light that might otherwise go unnoticed, finding the humanity and connection in the everyday. Merging photographic images with the linocut carving technique, PaulE creates a playful relationship between colours and negative space, drawing our attention through economy and simplicity.
Awarded a Master of Arts degree in Fashion Design, the chosen field where Catherine spends most of her time, she recently decided to contribute to UPSTARTUNLIMITED artist community. Here she enjoys communicating thoughts and ideas through block prining.
